I’ve been putting off posting about the Physicians Formula products in the hope that they may have launched in the UK by now. I kind of thought they might do something before Christmas but alas we appear to be no closer and I have no more news so I thought I would just go ahead and review the bits and pieces I have.. this is one of my favourites.
When I first opened it up I thought it was basically a golden powder, total nightmare scenario for a glitter-phobe like myself and I assumed I would hate it but crisis averted.. it was just a pretty overspray. The same thing happened with their Happy Booster Blush, if you have been following me for a while you may remember my review where I was ranting how disco ball it made my face and then I realised it was just the top layer. Okay PF it makes the product look nice but it’s totally impractical and had I seen this in store I would NEVER have picked it up because it looked so glittery.. you could be losing customers!
Once you get past that gold the powder is a sheer bronze that has a beautiful sheen so serves the purpose of both bronzer and highlight. I would say that if you’re super pale this could er on the orange side.. I applied it heavily for the below picture so that the colour would pick up on camera. You can definitely get a more subtle effect but I would rather use this as a highlight on top of another bronzer because it’s not the perfect tone for my skin but I can see ho on warmer or darker complexions this could serve double duty.
Have you tried this? It’s really gorgeous and if I already had some colour, maybe in the summer or after a holiday I would reach for this but it doesn’t work so well trying to warm up my pale skin from nothing.
Available online here for £7.45 plus (astronomical) P+P from eBay US

The packaging looks gorgeous! But I’m not sure on my pale skin, usually anything that’s not basically brown in the packaging shows up orange on my skin.

sigh too bad they haven’t launched yet, I have a couple PF products I like but haven’t tried this one. Good to know about the glitter!
This looks very pretty in the pan, but like you I have pale skin, so this would only work for me when I have a tan.
Loving the snow 🙂

once upon a time I worked next to a guerlain counter and I though the same when I saw it
I have been debating on whether to purchase this item or not. All the colors are soooooo gorgeous. I’m purchasing it soon. It looks like a convient item to have in your makeup collection. Great post!
I love the design of the product!
