Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara

I told you earlier in the week that I’d been putting off reviewing the PF products I had because I wasn’t sure when they would be readily available in the UK but really I had no reason to wait on this one.. because I hated it! I don’t love raving about something you can’t easily get your hands on (though sometimes it’s necessary.. sorry folks!) but this really was just awful for my lashes so hey.. let’s talk about that! I would imagine that if you (and the majority of the world it would seem) love Cover Girl Lash Blast and Maybelline Rocket you will probably like this because the 3 are very similar but for me it is those similarities that made me really dislike this.

The bristles are a little longer than the other two but still pretty short and with my already pretty stubby little lashes I find that difficult to work with. If I want to get the brush right in to the roots it inevitably ends up all over my lid – if I’m honest this IS a recurring problem I have but it’s much worse with some brushes than others so I feel justified in complaining – as you can see in the picture above. Usually a rubbery wand with long bristles will give length and a regular fat bristled brush will give volume so I just do not see the point of these rubber wand with the tiny bristles.. what are they supposed to do?? HOW can they be working as well for people as they claim??

It did so little for my lashes, made them black but I couldn’t work the product in as well as I’d like so even that was a stretch. It didn’t work for me at all but since it reminds me so much of other brushes that I know people love I could well find myself in the minority again here.. that being said I cannot lie and although you may love it I think the pictures here speak for themselves..

I have been really disappointed with mascaras in general recently. They seem to be getting worse in quality on the whole. I mean, I don’t know if it’s the fierce competition, but they are seriously annoying me with all the promises of long, volumized lashes, and then come out with a product that is dodgy to say the least.
The only drugstore brand that I haven’t tried yet in terms of mascaras if the Bourjois line. Hopefully those will be ok.
Btw, I really appreciate honest reviews! 🙂

I bought the Green One from PF, I brought from iHerb, I really don’t like it, It flakes like hell and never dries!

I see it raved about all over Youtube and the Blogs but it just doesn’t work for me, I love the Maybelline Rocket Mascara but that does dry on the lashes, The Green Organic Physicians Formula Mascara stays constantly wet? I’ve never known that from a Mascara before, I won’t be purchasing again.

Have you tried Rimmel Scandaleyes Retroglam? I do smudge a little with it but I think thats my fault rather than the brush. It is nice and thick and the bristles are lovely on the brush. Somebody thought I was actually wearing falsies when I had this on. Its only about £5.00 too but I got it as a free gift for buying two other things.

I’ve also used this mascara as well. I ended up with the raccoon look at the end of the day and the product dries out around the 2 month point. There are so much better options in the organic/natural mascara market albeit a few dollars more.
