Revlon Balm Stain – Crush

Okay now let’s talk about stains. Maybe the idea of matte lip colour doesn’t appeal to you but you still want kiss-proof colour.. well these aren’t exactly non-transfer but they will stay put without the drying effect of a matte product. There are plenty of colours to choose from in this range dubbed the drugstore’s answer to the Chubby Stick but this deep ox-blood shade is still bang on trend and super sexy for date night. It have a slight metallic finish that you can make out in the tube which on the lips translates as a subtle shimmer. It can come off a little streaky as you can see from the photo below but as the product wears away the excess does too and you’re just left with a dewy looking stain. You’re lips wont look glossy all day but they wont look or feel dry either and if you feel you want to touch up you can layer without fear of an ugly build up.

A great product for a night out and by the time the top layer wears away what you’re left with is definitely what I’d call kiss proof colour!

RRP is £7.99 but it’s on sale online here for £5.99 right now!

I love the balm stains and have two of them, but I don’t know whether I’m brave enough for this shade. It’s really pretty though:)xo

This is my favorite one of these stains. It’s so versatile, it goes from a very deep pink colour to a crazy dark plum! I love it!!!

I love these stains too – have bought three already! Although I have to admit, I’ve fallen more in love with the Revlon pens a tad more! x

I have this product in the shade “Honey” but I’m really loving this one on you! Might have to pick it up for myself!

I have this product in the color “honey” and I really like it. I find it lasts well. I also tried the covergirl gloss stick (not a stain) and I really prefer this revlon stain over it. I find it is less drying, the color looks better and stays better. I am thinking about going back for a bolder color!
