Revlon Lip Butter – Pink Truffle

How has it possibly taken me this long to blog about one of my most worn Autumn lip colours?? I must have used it in half a dozen videos already this season and somehow it slipped through the net.. crazy! Well better late than never and whatever season it is right now as you read this wherever you are in the world.. you need this in your life. It’s the most flattering version of a nude lip you will ever find and I firmly believe that it’s a one shade fits all colour. On me it’s more of a rosy neutral but the darker your skin the more nude it will look and it’s so glossy and can be worn fairly sheer so I can’t see this being a dud for ANYONE.

It’s one of my go to workwear lip colours because it’s so easy and even as it wears away I’m not desperately seeking a mirror to touch it up. I think it works nicely with me winter pale but it will be just as great when I have a tan with a shimmery eye and lots of highlight/bronzer.. I’m just in love is what I am. It’s crazy to think that little over a year ago I was so anti-lip butter but a few choice shades brought me to my senses and while I still don’t agree that they’re as buttery and hydrating as the hype would have you believe, there are certain colours I now wouldn’t be without – this, Raspberry Pie and Berry Smoothie being just 3.

What’s your favourite ‘doesn’t make me look dead’ neutral?

Love the Revlon lip butters for their creaminess.

I have this colour too, I absolutely love it for similar reasons. It’s easy to wear and can be applied without using a mirror! xx

I only own one lip butter and this is it. LOVE IT. But that’s for the shade so I’m not rushing out to grab more, but I am happy I have this one!

I’m glad I listened to you and got this colour. When I was swatching it it looked bad but it looks so good on you I decided to take a chance, now I think my Boots must have just had a dodgy tester because it doesn’t look like that when I swatch my one haha. Now I have 5 lip butters, the same 3 as you plus macaroon and peach parfait. I recommend macaroon, I think its similar to berry smoothie but darker.

another great neutral my lips but better shade is the shade mauve it over also by revlon.despite it being one of their matte lipsticks it has more of a satin finish and is not drying at all.also ignore the name of the shade as it is not mauve at all more a perfect pinky beige brown hard to describe colour but ive yet to see it look bad on anyone.

Oooh this looks sooo nice!! I struggle to find nudey pinks that are wearable on me and not too pale – so this looks perfect 😀

This color looks amazing on you! I tried it and it just doesn’t look quite right against my skin tone.
