REVOLUTION Liquid Highlighter

REVOLUTION LIQUID HIGHLIGHTER UNICORN ELIXIR LIQUID ROSE GOLD BRONZE CHAMPAGNE SWATCHES

These literally arrived TODAY so I can’t give you a full review yet but I couldn’t wait to swatch them so here we are! I have a video coming up on the latest releases from Revolution next week so by that point I should be abl to give you a better first impression after testing them out on my actual face.

I haven’t been a huge fan of liquid/cream highlight products in the past but these seem to be incredibly blendable and the range offers such a great variety of shades and finishes that I’m certain I will find ‘the one’ among them. Unicorn Elixir is getting a lot of attention and is obviously a ‘trend’ product but honestly? it’s not going to be for me. An irridescent, glittery fluid will be perfect for some but if you’re into a more natural glow, skip it. Liquid Champagne and Liquid Starlight are BEAUTIFUL and completely my kind of shades however there are also some warmer bronze tones for those of you looking for something a little deeper.

Either could be worn alone or mixed with your base (I would avoid the unicorn stuff for that unless you want to look like a disco ball!!) but at Β£6 each – CURRENTLY 3-FOR-2 AT SUPERDRUG – it’s a much more affordable way to experiment with adding a late summer glow!

I can’t wait to check these out IRL! I have one from Cover FX that’s a bit too pink toned & one from Iconic London that’s a bit too orangey. Hopefully Makeup Revolution will have the perfect pale yellow liquid highlight I’ve been searching for. Really liking the look of Liquid Champagne so fingers crossed! xx

Swatches look really good! Don’t really like the look of Unicorn Elixir either, gotta admit, I think I’m getting too old for trendy products, haha. Also, looks a bit chunky. Gotta check out other ones, they look so pretty!

I love the look of the unicorn highlighter but these just look too liquidy. πŸ™

I wish they’d just bring these out in a stick for so we can just apply them wherever we want on the go. πŸ˜›

They are stunning to look at so I would be interested in hearing your thoughts further down the line on how they apply and last on the skin
