RiRi Hearts MAC – TOO good?

I waited so long to post these pictures that I’m fairly certain you have no chance of getting these from a legitimate retailer at this point.. try your luck on eBay, though you’ll probably pay through the nose. The reason I have waited so long is because i haven’t wanted to use them.. they must have arrived a month ago and as I write this I haven’t even swatched the lipstick.. not even a little. They’re just too pretty.

I will of course review them individually when I bite the bullet and actually touch the surface but for now they are very pretty ornaments on my makeup counter. The packaging is immense and honestly if this was MAC’s standard I would probably own a lot more from the line but I guess it wouldn’t be as special. I’ve seen previews of the RiRi Christmas collection and it’s not even slightly as nice as this so although it’s sold out I thought it was still worth posting and telling you that if by some miracle you can get your hands on anything.. buy it.. for the rose gold alone. I could happily keep these in a drawer and never use them.. just knowing they’re there is enough.

Do you feel like that about anything? Too special/expensive to actually use/wear it?

I just don’t like the fact that it has her signature all over it. I’ve never been a fan of Rhianna, I might like her better if she wore more clothes, but as it is I don’t really want to use anything with her name on it. Its kind of like the one direction line that MUA has and the little mix line that collection has. I’d actually use those products but I’m not buying anything with their names on them.

    I totally understand your sentiments.

I once bought a pair of boots with pearls and fancy metallic artwork on the heels. Looking at them brought me great pleasure and I only begun to wear them after around a year.

I managed to get my hands on the RiRi Woo lip glass and I love it. It’s not sticky but looks very glossy and stays on. Best lipgloss I’ve had in a long time.
