I took so many photos of this compact it was hard to choose the best ones for the post, it’s maybe the prettiest packaging I own. It’s lightweight and plastic but looks super-luxe and follows the ever-popular copper/rose gold trend perfectly.
I suppose the product inside should be what we’re more inetersted in so we’ll talk about that some. Both sides are cream to powder, one is a bronzer the other is a highlighter, fairly self explanatory. The highlight is a touch more metallic than I’d like but then I’d imagine it’s tough to get a cream to act like a sheen in the same way a powder product can so I’ll let that slide. The bronzer is a nice matte brown, an equivalent to the Bourjois bronzer neutral-wise. In the photos above I over-applied so that it would show in photos because in reality it’s very subtle. The shades complement each other perfectly and overall it gives a very natural look. I don’t know about you but I expected a bronzer from a tanning brand to be more ‘high impact’ so I was pleasantly surprised by this.
I love my Nars cream bronzer but for a little less money you can purchase this (£25.00 here) and get a much more versatile item that’s perfect for travel or even popping in your handbag. It even has the added bonus of a huge mirror inside.. really, really love it!
