Silver Skirter

METALIC PLEATED SKIRT PRIMARK GUCCI DISCO REDI'm late to share this outfit but I didn't want to skip it because it's been a favourite over the colder months when I've wanted to dress up but still feel warm and comfortable. I am completely converted to the mid-length pleated skirt too, expect to see more of them from me now Spring has sprung! This one is from Primark last year and I'm not certain they have the same one in store now but they do have multiple colours in a jersey version right now which I've already bought 2 of. At £8 a pop I may well go back for more! Here are a few alternatives for those looking online..[gallery ids="22948,22949,22953,22952,22951,22950"]

ROSE GOLD / GREY / PINK / BLACK / GOLD / SILVER

METALIC PLEATED SKIRT PRIMARK GUCCI DISCO REDEven with 2 dogs I will never be 'over' black and this fine knit jumper from ASOS was such a find. A slight high neck without giving me moon face (oh, how I long for a decent jawline and a set of cheekbones that would lend themselves to contouring) nicely fitted over the top and skimming over my midsection while being just the right length.. perfect! They have it in multiple colours now too..[gallery ids="22932,22933,22934,22935,22936,22937"]

DARK RED / NAVY / OATMEAL / PEACH / RED / BLACK

METALIC PLEATED SKIRT PRIMARK GUCCI DISCO REDLastly my shoes/bag.. the lace up flats I love in theory but they're not the most comfortable. If I had my time again I would buy elasticated versions that didn't tie around my ankle. Also, I've had tons of requests lately for cheaper alternatives to my Gucci Soho Disco, Charl from Ginger Girl Says but together a great selection of budget alternatives recently which you can see here and I will add my additional suggestions below..[gallery columns="4" ids="22938,22939,22940,22941"]

MICHAEL KORS - £270 / KATE SPADE - £235 / RALPH LAUREN - £210 / CAMBRIDGE SATCHEL - £85

Although the quality is beautiful I firmly believe it's the colour that is so awe-inspiring when it comes to this bag.. no other colour interested me but every time I saw the red.. it was just. so. red.[gallery ids="22942,22943,22944,22945,22946,22947"]

RED / BLACK / NUDE / SNAKE / BLUE / SILVER

And of course here are some lace up shoe options that I may well succumb to once the weather is more ballet flat appropriate again. I love the delicate design but seriously.. put some thought in to whether you a stiff cord rubbing around your ankles as you walk. Flats should be the comfortable choice, right??
