Smashbox Always On - Big Spender #30in30

After the surprise-rave of the YSL Tatouage on Wednesday I have a bit of turn around on one of my favourites today. I'd still buy another of these but it doesn't last as well as I remember. The Smashbox Always On is pretty comfortable and it's transfer-proof (unlike the YSL) but I did experience the standard lower lip wear after a couple of hours.I've been known to reapply this to the inside of my lips at my desk with no mirror because I know it wont last all day without touch ups but I know I can layer it without fear of it ending up in a crumbly mess.The colour is what I've settled on as a more flattering alternative to the deep plum shades I've enjoyed in the past. This slightly softer deep rosey tone is so much easier to wear and doesn't wash me out. That's pretty much what I've come to on the hair colour front too. Darker brunette shades are a little too harsh on me and if my 30s are teaching me anything it's that I'd rather make the more flattering choice than the trendy one.So it's not absoluteley fantastic but it's definitely up their in my top 5 when it comes to liquid lipsticks and I wouldn't hesistate to buy another.
