Of everything I bought IMATS weekend this is probably my favourite. I have tried so many brow products over the years and when I’m blonde it’s so tough to find something that’s not too warm, pigmented enough to fill in my sparse brows and not too waxy. Powders are fine for when I’m dark but I need to pencil them in first ideally to create the full shape I want and pencils are just do tricky. The best I’d tried prior to this was from MAC, the technical pencil in fling (read about that here) I loved that but it didn’t last long and I wasn’t prepared to replace it every month. I’ve been using this for a month and have maybe 3 quarters of the product left (if not more) so althought it’s expensive it’s good value and I’m happy to pay more for something that I can’t find in a cheaper product rather than just make do.
You can see how much difference it makes, defined brows lift the whole face and I couldn’t go out without mine.. I’d probably rather go without foundation.. hmm.. maybe not but you see what I’m saying. It’s not super ash toned but it’s not too warm and for my hair colour it’s just perfect. It’s angled so I use it in the same way I would a brush but it has a much better colour pay off and lasts a lot longer too. It’s not in the least bit waxy, quite firm, you can use it lightly and get this result which is probably why I haven’t used much yet. It also has a brow gel on the end which I’ve been using because it’s there and I don’t want to waste it but my brows don’t really need it, if yours are really thick and you’re used to using something to set them with then you’ll appreciate this addition more than I do.
In a nutshell I can’t imagine finding something that works better for me than this and I will definitely repurchase! – Available online here for £19.00
