If you caught my ‘Two Outfits for £100’ post last week you’ll recognise this one. I was in a bit of a rush to get up those pictures but they really didn’t do the outfits justice so I thought I would take some clearer ones for you as and when.. here is as, when will come later. You can see where to buy and all that jazz in the original post but these jeans really were the show stealer for me and you just couldn’t see them.
I really struggle with fit when it comes to trousers and for work I wear a lot of skirts and dresses but for day to day wear jeans are an essential so when I come across a pair that fit well I want to tell EVERYONE! Although the high waisted trend is ‘out there’ and some brands are catering to it low rise is still the most popular waist and my shape just wasn’t made for low waist anything. I really like a good old fashioned regular waistline and difficult as that is to find without stopping to M&S ‘Mum Jeans’ they are out there.. you just have to look. My all time favourites are the BGD Ankle Cigarette and the Topshop Jamie jeans as both not only fit well at the waist but they’re slightly cropped and are the perfect leg length for me as well. I love them but they’re both £40+ and I don’t always want to pay that. This pair from La Redoute is just £17.40 and although they’re a little stiffer so not quite as comfy as the more expensive options the black coated stripe down the side gives them an edge and makes them different to anything I else I have.
So there you go.. an unexpected rant about jeans and an outfit you’ve already seen.. bet you’re glad you stopped by today 🙂
