I’m sure I’m not the only one who rethinks their makeup bag with the changing of the seasons and as Spring is just around the corner I decided to switch things up and try a new look. I flit between pencil and liquid liner phases but I do love a good cat eye so I reached for my favourite Rimmel Glam Eyes and paired it with a classic (yet new) lip. I also added in a moisturiser with SPF which I know I should have been wearing all along but better late than never, right? You can watch a short tutorial on the look below..

I’ve highlighted all of the new items I added in bold, they total just under £45 and given that that includes a foundation and powder I’m pretty happy with that as it will last me all season. I’ve been told since purchasing that the Neutrogena SPF is available at Home Bargains for just £2.99 which is massive saving for those interested and some of these items were purchased within 3 for 2 promo’s so actually cost me less (there are so many offers on right now). Actually if you stuck with the lip balm (which is just enough tint for daytime) and were happy with your current moisturiser you have there a whole new makeup bag for under £50!
