Still Frizzy..

I know I’m totally overdosing you guys on hair posts lately but I’m still so angry about what that straightening kit did to my barnet that I can’t help ranting from time to time. Today I was appalled at the state of my frazzled ends after blasting it with the hairdryer.. This is AFTER a drastic cut.. WTF? I sent off my complaint form to Schwarzkopf yesterday so I will update you as soon as I hear back from them but I can’t imagine they’ll take any responsibility for this mess.. I wouldn’t want to either.

Don’t f**k about with your hair! Lesson officially learned!

This is ridiculous, after the effects of this £6 ACID you must have spent at least £30-£40 buying new products, getting haircuts and doing treatments to try and repair the damage?? Why aren’t THEY paying for this! If they don’t take your complaint seriously and offer some serious compensation you should take it further with them.

did you use the same kit? the problem is it will never grow is the ends are damaged, you’re hair GROWS but the ends snap off so it appears to be at a standstill… regardless of how short you still need regular trims before it will move 🙁

Yes I did use the same kit, worst mistake of my life. My hairdresser was shocked at the state of my hair. It looks and feels disgusting. Lesson learned I think

I can’t BELIEVE that. I’m glad you’re filing a complaint. They should reimburse you for all the money you’ve had to spend and probably will spend in the future trying to restore your hair to it’s previous state! I feel horrible that this happened to you, but I’m sure you’ve saved a lot of girls or guys wanting to straighten their hair from trying this product in the future! That’s the only good I can see that came from it. Horrible!

Eeee poor you! I had something similar happen to my hair (different product etc). I found the Philip Kingsley Elasticiser and the Aphogee two step treatment did help, along with coconut oil (best thing EVA), and I use Kerastase Elixir, and Kerastase heat treatment that are both for dry hair and a protein builder one (you can’t use this every time). It really really improved it! I love Kerastase.

Sadly, my hair ended up snapping off at the roots so I had to have a pixie cut which I’m still growing out now. But my hair’s super nice at least 🙂

omg! I had to have it all chopped into a cut like that once and I am just NOT pretty enough haha. You need a really beautiful face to have so little hair and at the end of the day.. my nose is too big haha. I think I still need a few inches off mine so I will keep it short til it feels healthy enough to grow out but like you I’m okay with it now x
