Teal Tinsel

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAFull disclosure this isn't just one polish.. I'm wearing one coat of a matching cream colour underneath (I think it was called teal)  as I suspected it would be tough to get this opaque but that's by the by. Both the base AND top coat are from Poundland's new cosmetic range 'Makeup Gallery' and cost (surprise, surprise) just £1 each! I feel like that sentence would have meant more 5 years ago, these days we have brands like MUA and Revolution who are raising our expectations when it comes to low cost beauty but a new range with every product retailing for a pound (and with zero scope for price increase given the retailer) is still pretty exciting. I picked up some bits and pieces from the picked over stand I found last weekend and will be filming a first impressions video when I get chance to play with it all but in the mean time I thought I'd share the polish. Hugely impressed as I took these photos 2 or 3 days in and am writing this a week after painting and had it not been for some irritating phone case issues I'd have experienced little to no chipping. I did of course top it all off with my Seche Vite but that doesn't make a nail colour indestructible by any means, it's still very good going if it lasts me 4+ days without needing to be removed. The glitter is VERY pretty and I'll be picking up more of those for sure, I had so many compliments on it when I went in to work on Friday and that's saying something since I wear something new every week.. it was a bit of a showstopper!

You can find your closest store online here, unfortunately you DO have to buy in store so there's no link to purchase with this one but the range is substantial and worth the trip! Watch this space for a full review but if you'd like to see what I picked up and some swatches you can watch my haul video here or below..
