The 99p Palette

IMG_0744I know Revolution palettes are cheap so the last one I reviewed – see here – could almost be forgiven for its’ misses but this mini palette really puts that one to shame at just 99p! The pans are smaller but you get 18 colours here and not one of them is even half bad. Yes they’re a little chalky and I’ve used better but I do tend to make allowances for budget eyeshadows are they seems to be the most difficult thing to get right. Lipsticks are much of a muchness, some feel nicer, last longer etc but a very cheap one can look just as nice as one 10x the price but eyeshadow.. it’s just a different animal. So, no these aren’t as nice as my Urban Decay beauties but they are still very nice for very very little money.

IMG_0749IMG_0748I will try to get some looks photographed with this palette soon to show you how they translate but I’d highly recommend you pick this up if like me you have a sea of neutral palettes and are looking to inject a little colour. If you don’t think you’ll use them all that often then why spend a bundle? Perfect thing to save on if you ask me!

I’ve never heard of this brand before but the colours on the palette look great. Love your new design as well by the way! Your site loads a lot quicker for me now!

I suppose it reminds me of the Electric Palette by Urban Decay just because of all the bright shades. I’d love to see some looks done with it!

I ordered this from cosmetic fairy and it’s really lovely. I took it on holiday with me as it was perfect for a bit of colour pop whilst being so compact. I’m not sure when id use colours like the bright orange (which is practically fluorescent) but like you said, it’s great to have something to mix up the neutrals

I actually love orange in the crease on a neutral eye

The second swatch in the first picture looks amazing! The deep plum, I bet it’s beautiful on the eyes! Looks like a great little bargain.
