The BEST Gel Look Top Coat

I have tried many top coats in my time in the search for the glossiest possible nails and I am here to tel you.. this is the best! Not only is it uber shiny and gives that thick, gel-like finish it also drives super fast! My all time favourite up to now has been Sally Hansen Mega-Shine which I used to buy from my local discount makeup store but when they stopped stocking it I looked elsewhere (I wasn’t prepared to pay £7+ full price) and found the Essie Good To Go on sale, that was comparable but again the RRP was high and it wasn’t always available at a lower cost. When I stumbled upon a Kiko store and discovered their prices were extremely affordable I couldn’t resist trialling this which promised everything I’d ever searched for in a top coat. You get 11ml of product which is slightly less than the 2 I’m comparing it to, however I never managed to use up every last drop of either of them, there was at least a quarter left in each when they glooped up and my brush could not longer reach the lacquer so only time will tell whether this will fare better. Regardless this will always work out cheaper even if only by a fraction and finish/wear wise this wins hands down (pardon the pun) so really.. who cares? Ultimately if I can’t get my old faithfuls on sale then this is still less and I genuinely prefer it, I only with it was stocked somewhere near me. As it is I will have to order online which is never ideal when you’re talking about a staple, which top coat certainly is for a nail freak like me!

Available online here for £4.90

I’m not in the UK but maybe I can find it in the US. Currently I use a Soak Off Gel Top Coat over my polish and it last up to 2wks w/o chipping but filing the gel coat off is very damaging to the nails.
BTW, I would love to have the code/like/website for the social icons that floats on your page on the right side!

I’ve been thinking of investing in a uv lamp etc for the gel top coat but as you say… not great for your nails longterm

Have you tried Seche Vite? It can be expensive for a small bottle, but if you like it, you can get a salon size bottle and it works out really cheap that way. Even with a terrible application/starting to get goopy it looks like you’ve layered glass over your polish. The only real downside is that it smells quite strong but hey……..I say open a window and let’s get glossy!

That warning on the side of the bottle is only required for the state of California. I was a bit worried about that at first, but I spoke to a few girls from the US, and one of them said they had found the exact same warning on a toy yo-yo! However, I wouldn’t use it if I’m pregnant, just in case!
