The Best Mascara EVER?

Sure enough I have found my holy grail mascara. I’ve loved many in my years of beauty blogging but this is.. THE ONE. It’s so tough to describe why a mascara is so great because what makes me love it might be the very thing that turns you off but for me it hits every spot. A rubber brush always works best for my lashes but it isn’t the be all and end all.. I’ve been known to stick one brush in a totally different tube of mascara to attempt to find the perfect combination but this has it all in one.

The formula isn’t too wet so has that grip and hold from day one – you might have heard people talk about rediscovering a mascara after leaving it for a while, that’s because it’s had time to dry out a little. It just works better. I’ve only had this for a couple of months so I can’t say whether it might go the other way and be TOO dry over time but using it every day I’m pretty sure I’ll have used it up by then.

Top to bottom, no coats, one coat, two coats

Much like a foundation or a cleanser mascara is not one size fits all but my natural lashes are nothing to write home about and this gives me the best boost for my buck of EVERY other one I’ve tried so if you’re in the market for a new one.. I’d recommend it!

Revlon Photo ready 3D Volume – £10.99 and worth every penny!

Not trying to be rude but that mascara doesn’t do a lot for you. It’s looks a bit clumpy and doesn’t had much volume. Love you blog a lot though!

not rude at all, like I say what makes me love it might make you hate it. I’d rather have length than volume and I don’t find it to be clumpy 🙂

I got Colorstay yesterday after you’ve recommended it so much so I can see another trip to Boots coming along while they still have the 3 for 2!

    Thanks for the review!

My holy grail mascara is the Lancome hypnose waterproof 🙂 I have been wanting to find a cheaper drugstore alternative though. Revlon do some really great products but i haven’t had many good experiences with their mascara after being dissapointed by some of them~

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this mascara, i hope you have a lovely day!

I’ve never been in to expensive mascaras, I guess part of me doesn’t want to love one and have to keep buying it lol but mostly I think there are some great formulas available for a lot less

I’m tempted to try this but my favourite is Max Factor false lash effect ‘fusion’. Someone got me a different one for Xmas and I tried it but nothing can beat that for me. Although I’ve not tried the higher end of the market. X

Tried this a few years ago and LOVED it…but…like you mention after a few months it was far too dry…as you say tho if you’re using it every day it’ll hopefully be ok.

yeah I can see that happening but I haven’t used anything else since buying this so I’m going to see how long I can get from it before deciding if it’s worth it

Ooh I’d totally try this! Does it have a scent to it though? I find that too many mascaras give off a flowery scent and then my eyes water it all off involuntarily!

My holy grail mascara is Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal Mascara
You should give this one a try!!

I like the first coat the most ! My favorite mascara is L’Oreal telescopic !

Revlon is my favourite drugstore makeup brand. I don’t have very good experiences with mascaras so I’d love to try this and cross fingers I love it as much as you do!

I’m a fussy pussy when it comes to mascara but I’ve stuck to Mally so far so good.Thickens my already long lashes which are blonde and fine.Dryer formula but wet at first few uses.I’ve had a set delivered with bare minerals Lash Domination in…will try it on holiday.

I saw you talk about this mascara and tried it. I absolutely love it! Would definitely repurchase. My HG mascara is EL Sumptuous but it’s a bit too expensive.

Which neutral eye pencil are you using? I generally use white but you have a lovely neutral colour that I read about. Very flattering!
