The British Beauty Blogger Palette

IMG_3354I’m pretty darn excited about this beauty launch. I know that lots of bloggers are doing lots of things right now and ALL of it’s amazing, don’t get me wrong. The fact that bloggers have been accepted as THIS marketable is incredible, great strides have been made.. but this particular line is from one of my personal favourites, British Beauty Blogger.

IMG_3355Much as it must have been terribly exciting to have the opportunity to create this line of products I can’t imagine how difficult it was for Jane to finalise her choices. As a beauty blogger you try so many things you become pretty difficult to impress so if you’re going to put your own name to something it had better be pretty darn awesome. The collection comprises of this palette, 6 nail colours, a lip trio, a set of 8 kohl liners and a bronzing kit.. oh and I believe there’s a wash bag but I haven’t found that online.

The branding is on point, the designs are from the same illustrator who provides images for Jane’s websites so even without her name it has her stamp all over it. I have a few products to show you but we’ll start with the palette because if I were her it’s the thing I’d be most excited about. Six shadows and a blush, must have been the hardest 7 choices of her life but I think she did really well. A good mix of warm and cool, blendable, shimmery shades and a blush that is subtle enough to suit just about anybody. At the price point you can’t expect the best quality in the world but compared to those of a similar cost they’re very good.

IMG_3356The set comes with a brush rather than a sponge applicator – another clue that someone that actually cares was involved – and it’s not a bad on either.. actually worth using. The whole thing is made of cardboard and is so compact it would make the perfect travel palette, no wasted packaging trying to make it look fancy, it is what it is and what it is is definitely worth parting with your cash for. I plan on filming a ‘GRWM’ style video using some of the products soon so look out for that on my YouTube channel, swatches don’t really do it justice so I want to show you my favourite pieces in action.

The whole range is available from Marks & Spencer online here and since they’re all marked as gifts they’re part of their 3 for 2 deal so whether you’re buying as a gift or for yourself you could snag some of this limited edition collection for an EVEN better price.

Those look so lovely! Good for her… I wish I could get it here in the States. Not sure how I feel about the blush colour (I’m Asian, it probably wouldn’t look stellar on me), but I LOVE the eyeshadow picks.
