The Colour Tattoos We Never Got

9 August, 2014

IMG_0992Recently my Bad To The Bronze Colour Tattoo and rather than go out and buy another of the same I took to eBay for an alternative. The US have had SO many more colours of this range than we have and as I remember they had a whole line of neutrals not so long ago.. these are two of them. They weren’t all that expensive either, £5.95 + postage.. not as cheap as they are in Boots of course but I think they’re amazing value at £4.99 so I really don’t mind paying a little more.

The colours I got were Nude Complement and Sleek & Spice, of the two I’ve been using the first more. Its a paler nude and a really easy base colour to wear when I’m just looking for a subtle wash of something on my lids. Sleek & Spice is deeper and warmer.. one I’ll likely reach for more as the weather cools but also very nice as a lower lid smudge. I’m very much in to that Alexa Chung look and this is perfect for it.. also stays put better than your average shadow in that area too. I hear we have some new colours in the UK but would you believe I haven’t stepped foot in Boots/Superdrug for more than a MONTH?? I know!! As soon as I break I will likely be back with a whole host of new swatches but in the meantime if you’re aware of any special editions I should keep my eye out for leave me a comment!

Here’s the eBay seller I bought from

Good idea to get them on ebay, shame that you have to though. Hate it when brands leave the UK out all together or until last!

It’s so unfair that the US get all these pretty colours, those two neutral colours looks gorgeous. The colour tattoo in Tough as Taupe is still one of my most reached for products ever x

On and On Bronze is exactly the same as bad to the bronze. We have that one in the UK, just a different name 🙂

I think we’re getting some new colours in the UK at some point. I’ve seen them on the Boots website but it looks like they’ve been put there by accident because you can’t actually click on them or put them in your basket. Hopefully its a sign that they are coming.

That is one of my hates of the beauty market, that some countries get things and others don’t. The companies should just release everything world wide at the same time.
