The Handbag ‘Edit’ Tag

IMG_2857I was cleaning out my handbag and found ALL OF THIS! I mean, seriously. I use the term edit loosely as non of this is edited and I’m missing a blotting powder which is an absolute essential in my book but I thought it might be an interesting ‘tag’. If you’re a blogger post the beauty contents of your handbag as it is and let us know why what’s in there is in there.. if you’re not a blogger post a photo on instagram/twitter or even list your randomness in a comment below.

I find this kind of thing bizarrely interesting as it gives an insight in to what you deemed necessary to take along with you that day.. plus 4 or 5 others too. You will notice I have a whole bunch of natural pink options (Lanolips Rhubarb, Clarins Lip Perfector Shade 1, L’Oreal Glam Shine Balmy Gloss in Sin For Peach, Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet in Nude-ist and Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle) and just a couple of colour pops ( Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie and Revlon Matte Balm in Unapologetic) which is fairly standard – maybe an unecessary volume though. As I previously mentioned along with all of that I would ALWAYS carry a face powder to touch up throughout the day.. not sure where it went. *goes to search coat pockets*

Non-lip product wise I have an eye mask from Origins (No Puffery), a Burts Bees lip balm which smells of mint and I really like however is not really doing it for me now the weather is getting colder.. I need to out my Nuxe back in there soon. Lastly I have a rollerball perfume from Fresh in Brown Sugar – my current absolutely favourite that I’m seriously worried about running out of. If you saw yesterdays US Wishlist post you will know I’m hoping Laura will bring me a larger bottle of it home from Vegas next month.. fingers crossed cause I just can’t get enough. A rollerball fragrance is so handy to have in your bag for days when you forget to apply perfume or for topping up if you’re going somewhere after work etc.. now I’ve had one I wont be without one. Any recommendations of where to find them in the UK are welcome!

So.. what’s in your handbag right now? Go take a look.. you might be surprised (or appalled in my case)

Miss BB

PS. I guess if I’m making this a tag then I will tag Fee, Emma, Laura, Caz, Sophia and Vanessa

I would do this tag but it would literally just be; old receipts, more crap, a stupid amount of lip products (I sense this is a theme amongst most girls) and more crap. Loving the amount of pink lipsticks – we just NEED to have the options don’t we!? 🙂

Not really a recommendation but Primark do there own rollerball perfumes, which don’t actually smell half bad, I’ve got one called Midnight Kiss *cringes* that smells like Raspberry, quite pleasant but I only reach for it in desperation! Its the only place I have found rollerballs in the UK (I did get the free mini Ghost eclipse rollerball in last months Marie Clare though and that’s every so handy and delicious smelling) Great post I have tagged myself lol 🙂 xxx

If you haven’t encountered them, Perfume Parlour do perfume oils in roller ball bottles of various sizes. They do dupes and originals. My faves are the dupes for Rock n rose by Valentino, Coco Mademoiselle and Chanel no.19. Definitely worth a look for budget smells (they do edt’s too). X
