The Hangover

a

Had you told me at 10 I would be leaving the house today I’d have questioned your sobriety.. I drunk lets say a little more than I should have last night and didn’t get dressed until almost 3pm, when I did I was looking for comfort and something to hide my makeup-less face during a quick (and entirely essential) run out to starbucks.

Having spent a good deal of time today trying to feel human again I am compiling a post on my hangover essentials for all you party animals.. I wasn’t built to be a drinker and so I don’t too often but when I do I really suffer, I have nothing but resentment for those of you lucky few who seem to come out the other side unscathed. I have a hen party coming up in a few weeks and am already dreading the morning after – my plan is to stick to Red Bull where possible but that’s not really getting in to the spirit of the occasion is it?

Some people swear by milk thistle on the run up to big event, supposed to help your liver handle the toxins. I thought it helped me feel less icky the next day but that could have been the costa! Xx

Hope you have a great henny!

I’m only 19 and get flu-like symptoms the day after I’ve been out! I can’t bear feeling that ill so I rarely go out – not exactly your typical student! 🙁 wish I didn’t feel the after effects so much!

Failing that, find a garden centre or cafe nearby that does a cracking breakfast! Lol! xx

Wine…I stick with wine. I typically come out unscathed on the other side. Also helpful would be lots of water and carbs before going to bed.
