The Indecisive Mani

IMG_1015

Once in a while I stare at my drawer of nail polish and simply CANNOT choose just one shade.. recently I decided I shouldn’t have to.. so I chose TWO. Now ordinarily this would mean alternate fingers or a hand of each but I decided to try something different and I’m so pleased with it I might make it my regular mani. It was surprisingly easy to do.

I literally painted half of each nail in a different colour. All at the same time, I didn’t wait for half to dry and then do the other, I didn’t do a full nail and paint in half.. I just painted them the same as I usually would but used two colours. I’m not saying it wasn’t a little tricky, keeping the line was tougher on my right hand as you can see from some less than central splits but overall it’s an easy-ish ‘nail art’ that any of you can try on those days when one colour just wont do.

The shades I’m wearing are Charming & Eclectic from Revlon

This is such a good idea! I’m so indecisive about nail varnishes so I’ll 100% be using this in the future. Han co

I love this look so much! I saw Lily Pebbles do it with similar colours, but much prefer your colour choices! I love a lilac and mint…must pick up Charming! I don’t know how easily I could get such a good line!!

I have so many nail varnishes that deciding is so hard haha! I love this type of effect, I did it a while ago with a pastel pink and yellow – inspired by drumstick lollies! These colours are gorgeous though and go together so well 🙂

These look great! I’m always on the look out for quick and easy nail are ideas so I think I’ll be giving this one a go myself! Love the choice of summery pastel shades too xx

If you want a slightly more precise line but don’t want to pay a fortune, use the sticky edge of a post-it note to cover half your nail x

I actually like the results you got on your right hand better. It looks like you went further that the middle on purpose, going further from the middle on every finger…
