This Winter my household have embraced bath bombs like never before. My son doesn’t want to get in a bath that isn’t ‘special’ anymore which is not ideal since it’s a nightly occurrence but luckily this just arrived. I’ve never tried anything from The Bomb Cosmetics before – I hear good things about their candles – so when I pulled the cracker I was excited to find 3 huge bath bombs. Technically Bath ‘Blasters’ as that’s what they call them but it’s much of a muchness, isn’t it?
Looking online the blasters range from £2.09 to £2.29 which given the size is considerably more cost effective than Lush (which is becoming an addiction of late) but I guess given that I’d have to order online (no local stockists) I wouldn’t get the same experienceor be able to pick something up on the day I wanted to use it. Swings and roundabouts but the lower cost means I will definitely be putting in an order to test out some more.
In this set I have It’s Xmas – ‘It’s the most wonderful time of the year! With a hint of glitter and pure Neroli & Sweet Orange essential oils to fuel that festive spirit!’, Fresh Berry Blaster – A deliciously wonderful explosion with ripples of sweetness, erupting and encapsulating your every sensation leaving you feeling sweetly scented. A potent raspberry blast with a creamy, vanilla base.’ and Cherry Bathe-Well – ‘An exceedingly good bath, combining fruity summer cherry scents and a hint of cookies! Pure marjoram and chamomile essential oils will help relax and soothe you. A warm fruity accord of lush cherry combined with a rich mouthwatering milk cookie fragrance smoothed by vanilla pod and hints of creamy coconut and white chocolate.’ – The last one was damaged a little in transit but I’m very much looking forward to trying that one looking at the description.. yummy!
I can’t find stock of this particular cracker on their site but I found it for £9.99 online here which is pretty good for 3 bath bombs and what looks like a substantial gift. They do lots of other gift wrapped sets too for £12.99 – I am yet to try these out but honestly? More than a scent and an occasional oily residue I have never been blown away by LUSH bath products so if this is a cheaper alternative when you want a ‘special bath’ I’m interested! Let me know if you’d like reviews on the individual blasters!
