One of the very few less than impressive products I’ve tried from Makeup Revolution.. and I had such high hopes. I want to kick this off with a little disclaimer that mascara is very much an individual thing.. what I hate you might love and vice versa so if this looks like the kind of thing you’d get along with then by all means give it a go.. and don’t forget to come back and let us know what you thought. I generally prefer rubbery wands that lengthen and seperate rather than thick, volumising bristles but the shape of this intrigued me. Aptly named, Viper the wand does indeed look like the head of a snake.. although I’m not sure what they have to do with eyelashes.
I found that the brush picked up too much of the thick formula and and was messy to apply. If you already have long, luscious lashes you might love this, it might ad volume with little effort but I have to really work a mascara in to my lashes to get them to do anything. I’m not the worlds most neat mascara-er to begin with but there was no way I was getting to the root with this without smudging it all over my lid and even then the result wasn’t great.
One of the few misses from an otherwise stellar brand. Bare in mind that I’ve totally panned some serious best sellers in this category and as you can see I have little to work with in the first place so it has to be really, really good to get a good review from me and this was just average.
