I promised my next ‘health’ post would be on fitness and so true to my word here it is. I previously tried the 30 day shred (read about that here) but that was really hard on my knees and they’re not in the best shape right now as it is so I thought I’d try something new. Tone It Up is the latest diet and fitness craze so if you’re reading this I’m sure you’ll have heard of it. There’s an infamous protein pancake recipe I’m yet to try but this weekend I attempted their YouTube workouts and let me tell you.. ouch!
I particularly liked the idea I could choose the areas I want to target and work mainly on those. I know I need to drop a little all over but I don’t want to do full body workouts every day, all that sweat is quite frankly off putting… I mean there’s just no point ever doing your hair! So once or twice a week I’ll do something more cardio based along with my daily walks and every day I’m doing this…
It’s tough at times but I feel like I’m working my core and that’s what I want. I’m more likely to work harder if it’s an area I’m desperate to see improvement in. I’ve tried a few others from the TIU girls, you can find their channel with workouts and recipes here if you’re interested, they’re all taxing but not so much so that I need to give up and go home halfway through. I know the harder you work the faster you’ll see results but if it’s so hard I can’t keep up then it’s kind of pointless, no? I think Wednesday marks a week since I decided to finally shed the extra poundage so I will weigh in with you guys then and reveal some of the meals I’ve been eating and (would you believe) FRUIT I’ve been snacking on. As always if you have any pearls of wisdom or just general recommendations for me go ahead and leave them in the comments. Already I’ve had so many great idea’s from you guys I’m thinking of compiling a post on them, thoughts?
Anyway, I’ll get back to my blackberries and fat free yoghurt and see you guys later!
