Top 5 Drugstore Foundations + Routine

I’m asked all the time what my top picks for foundation are at the drugstore so I finally got around to filming a video. Given the current humid/rainy weather we’re having plus my indecisive skin I’ve favoured my Revlon Colorstay for both longevity and the best shine free finish. In this video I show you how I use that and recommend another 4 budget bases for different coverage/skin type requirements.

Have you tried No7’s Beautifully Matte? Their whole new colour-matching thing is a bit of a faff (I ended up going a shade lighter anyway) but the foundation is really long-wearing and buildable. x

@Irina I’m so glad you found it a faff too, I went to get matched and got the colour they suggested, and omg, it is to dark for me, I’m tempted to go back and complain. But I really love their stay perfect foundation. Its just really natural, I’d say its light-medium- buildable coverage and just looks natural, really lovely and lasts all day. But such a shame about the colour matching thing as that is basically why I choose it over the colorstay.

Yup, definitely going to! But I bet they are going to fob me off with some oh you must have an uneven skin tone rubbish!

I’ve had enough of complaining to companies at the moment though- already complained to vodafone for over 2 hours this week alone, AND have the flu. Not a happy bunny. Think I’ll wait til i’m in a better mood and then write an email or go in store!

Oh that Revlon Lip Stain and Balm thing in honey that you recommended I bought the other day. Its so nice! Looks really dark pink on me though, I think its because I have very pigmented lips, going to try it with a foundation base underneath and see how it looks! 🙂 But formula…. in love, much better than the lip butters!!!
