Miners Matte Factor in Peach, L’Oreal Caresse in Tempting Lilac, GOSH Intense Lip Colour in 301, MAC Viva Glam V and ELF Hypershine Lipgloss in Vixen.
Not surprisingly my most worn shades are all pretty wearable, daytime colours but if you’d like to see my top 5 brights, let me know! As I’m posting this in honour of International Kissing Day I thought I’d start with the most kiss proof..
Miners Matte Factor in Peach
I love this stuff! I was lucky enough to be sent the full range of colours but this pinky peach colour is by far my most worn. It’s applied like a gloss but dries matte, has a vanilla scent and a thin layer will last you all day.
L’Oreal Caresse in Tempting Lilac
I reviewed these seperately here. They are balm-like bullets of sheer glossy colour in the most high end looking drugstore packaging. These are great for on the go as you don’t have to be too careful when touching up given the sheer formula and they wear off beautifully too. No worrying about smudging here and did I mention.. super moisturising? Tempting Lilac is my current pick because it’s so neutral but the purple tones give it the on-trend edge.
GOSH Intense Lip Colour in 301
£7.99 (can’t find online)
This has been a staple of mine for a couple of years and I”ve not idea how I’ve not yet run out. I have shade 302 as well and it was tough to choose the best but pink felt more seasonally appropriate. It’s super opaque glossy colour in a tube with a light and a mirror making it perfect for nights out. The colour is a pretty candy pink and it tastes and smells like the outer shell of a tic tac.. do you know what I mean? Just sweet and delicious!
MAC Lipstick in Viva Glam V
Is it just terrible that I think I wore this for my wedding but I’m not sure? haha. It’s my ultimate ‘your lips but better’ colour and the lipglass in the same shade is next on my MAC shopping list. Viva Glam V is almost a plum-brown with lots of shimmer in the tube that fortunately doesn’t translate that way on the lips. It’s just the most natural looking lipstick on me.
ELF Hypershine Gloss in Vixen
I wear this gloss so often in videos and I always get questions about it. It’s a gloss so as you can imagine it’s pretty sheer but layered up it packs a punch so it’s a great multi-tasker for travel to transform your look from day-night or just to have handy if you want to brighten up your pout. For £1.50 I’m so impressed with the Hypershine range, I will definitely be repurchasing this and more.
I hope you all have lots of kissing planned today or are at least wearing some serious lip love!
