Top Three Trends #GiveItAGoDaily

Screen Shot 2014-09-24 at 19.48.06So I just got off the Google Hangout with Boots.. did any of you watch? We had some technical difficulties and had to skip some bits and pieces but hopefully you enjoyed it.. you can watch the recording online here – link. I found myself totally captivated by Louise and her advice (and I’m not normally a lover of tutorials) her tips on contouring will be put to use tomorrow morning before work but I thought I’d share my favourite trends..

Screen Shot 2014-09-24 at 19.46.24The easiest trend to try has to be berry lips. It’s a budget friendly one too because one product can give you two different seasonal, on trend looks. You can wear your deep plum bold and sharp or you can ‘berry’ it by applying less than you need and sheering it out to a just bitten, stained look rather than an opaque colour. If you already have your berry colour you’re all set to try a new way to wear it.. very ‘budget beauty’ 😉

Screen Shot 2014-09-24 at 19.47.10I’m wearing this trend RIGHT NOW.. I don’t think you could see it on the video.. the lighting wasn’t excellent, I thought it would be too bold for me but I absolutely love it. Once put on my mascara I was sold, I will share the look in another post as I will absolutely be wearing it again. I’ve worn coloured liner under my eyes before but never in place of my winged liner.. if you haven’t tried it YOU NEED TO!

Screen Shot 2014-09-24 at 19.47.59The last trend wasn’t actually mentioned during the hangout but it would have been had we not run in to those pesky technical hiccups. I love green polish from mint to deep blue/greens, I’m wearing Essie Dive Bar right now which is such a beautiful dark colour – see here – but as Winter draws closer I will be reaching for bright metallic emeralds.

So that’s my round up, what’s are the trend you most want to try this season?

You can watch the hangout below..

I love green nails! I especially love emerald or deep forest green! I usually do an accent nail in either white or matte silver with it as well. It looks very wintery and it’s easy to tone down if needed.

Your facial expressions were so funny when boots connection dropped out lol. The eyeliner looks great on you.
