Topshop – Green Room

There aren’t many colours I feel like I’m missing from my nail polish collection but a really good, bright (almost neon) teal remained elusive. I saw an Essie colour on the nails of many YouTubers last year that I now forget the name of but when I finally got my hands on it it just looked dark and dull and well, disappointing. I spotted this Topshop Green Room months ago, maybe even last summer and I don’t know what took me so long to pick it up because I was convinced it would fill the void.. I guess having tried so many others that just didn’t do it for me I’d all but given up.

It was an impulse purchase in the end, it was at the till when I was buying a couple of other things I’d gone in for and I’m so pleased I finally got it because it’s (almost) exactly what I was looking for. I say almost because what you see here is Green Room over a great white by Seche Vite and that definitely went a way to helping the colour pop.. I’m still yet to try it alone. I’m still not totally satisfied that this is the best out there, I have my eye on China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle – I have a couple of others from that collection and they really are almost neon so I might just have to try that. For now this is almost there and more readily available for those who perfer not to shop online.

Available for £5.00 here or in stores

When it’s so rainy and miserable it’s nice to add a pop of spring/summer colour to the nails…love this colour especially. Will you be trying any of the Tanya Burr nail/lip products? She has some gorgeous colours but I feel a review from you will be as honest as it gets.

honestly I can’t imagine I will be going out of my way to order them.. If they were in a store maybe but I have to REALLY want to try something to buy it online and I just can’t get that excited about what look to be basic lip and nail products. I’m sure they’re lovely but they’re not on my list

Haha thanks for your reply and I think exactly the same. I was just curious more than anything without spending my own money 😉 Saving that for a Sephora blow out…rollerball perfumes here I come!!!

Have you tried any of the Gelly Nail Paints from Barry M? The Topshop colour you’re wearing looks rather like Greenberry from Barry M. The Gelly Nail Paints are great, I have a good weeks wear out of them without any chipping, and the colours are gorgeous.
