Tresemme Platinum Strength

I’ve wanted to try this stuff since all the big bloggers got samples and my instagram lit up with pictures of the various mysterious products. I have to say it’s not quite as impressive as I’d hoped but having tried these two I’d definitely like to try more from the range. The Deep Conditioning Treatment is nice and thick, smells good and does a good job as intensive conditioners go but as is always the way with these tall claims like ‘visibly repairs up to 2 years of damage’ you hold it to a higher standard and few things ever measure up. If you’re just looking for a deep conditioner I’d recommend it but I don’t think it did anything extra special. I feel similarly about the leave in treatment, it’s a serum/cream which obviously smooths split ends to give the appearance of less damage but it doesn’t do anything more than any other styling product I’ve tried so although I like it when you’re calling something ‘Platinum Strength’ people are going to expect results and I didn’t really see anything other than the usual. What I am interested to try are the ‘Monodose’ intensive treatments that are supposed to work in 60 seconds.. I’m not sure whether they will actually do anything of course but ever one to fall for the hype they just look like they will, don’t they?

Both available online for £5.99 each here

Haven’t tried these products but have used the ‘monodose’. After applying it I felt it lefty hair a bit greasy looking but the effects have definately lasted, 3/4 washes later my
Hair still feels like it’s in better condition so you should definately give them a try.

I am a long time youtube watcher and blog follower but first time comment-er.
I really wanted to comment to say I have the shampoo and conditioner and although I like them (smell, doesn’t make my hair heavy etc) but I bought it for the sole purpose of fixing my damaged hair, mainly split ends due to bleaching my entire head of hair over two years ago. I dont find it really delivers on its promise of rewinding 2 years of damage, it makes your hair look great the day of your shower but its back to damage the next day. Their split end shampoo isn’t any better sadly.
Keep on with the good work I love your blog and Milo is so adorable 😀
