Vivo Perfect Skin Primer

So many people swear by these silicone primers under their makeup, I’m not one of them. Most brands have at one time launched their own version I just never really saw the appeal. They feel so odd on application, it’s like you know it’s a gel, you can see it’s a gel but it feels like an oil.. what’s all that about? That being said when I received this I thought I’d give it the good old college try for the sake of the review given that it’s a very affordable product from a great budget brand. I still don’t like it. I will say this, it’s absolutely no different to any other silicone based primer I’ve tried so in my opinion if you are currently using the pricey Smashbox version you will probably love this just as much but for me.. it’s just a non starter. I’m not a massive foundation primer person to start with but I particularly dislike these formula’s so I’m sure I’m the worst person to have been sent this to review.

It looks good on the skin, makeup applies nicely over it but it’s all a bit so what? It didn’t improve the longevity or finish so I won’t be dabbling with silicone again until my boob job when I’m 65 😉

This doesn’t look very nice, truth be told! I use Witch’s one, and it’s like a cream more than anything. This Vevo one just looks a bit grim x
