What’s Better Than Sex?

When a beauty brand brings out a product claiming to be better than sex you’d best believe it’s going to get attention. I’m not sure why a mascara would be the product of choice, NARS had it pretty spot on with Orgasm and Smashbox with their O-Gloss both products emulating a flush you may have after the event but if it’s supposed to boost your lashes I’m not sure I’m doing it right.

I usually standby the wand being the most important aspect of mascara, I like the thinner, rubber bristles rather than the big fat brushes so I didn’t have high hopes for this but I did notice something. The formula of this mascara is so thick, the brush picks up a lot of product so between the two in theory you should get some mega volume lashes but unfortunately for me that translated to clumps.. and lots of them. I know for some a lash comb is an essential and I’m starting to consider that products such as this which could be great if it didn’t clump so much could be holy grail if I bothered to comb my lashes afterwards but I hate to have to add steps to an already lengthy process. I don’t know about you but mascara and brows are where I spend the most time on my makeup and I want a do it all product. this COULD be great and I may revisit the comb idea just to test that theory but for me it’s just not it and it’s definitely NOT better than sex 😉

I didn’t like this either when I first started using it – I thought it was far too wet and it made my lashes really clumpy, but then I discovered that if you swipe the wand on the back of your hand a few times to remove the excess product, it’s like using a different mascara…I’ve gone from hating it to loving it.

That’s a shame I was really looking forward to trying this.
Tbh though I was more drawn in by the branding than the product itself/
    Thanks for the honest review

I’ve been thinking recently how much I need to get a lash comb, as lots of mascaras seem to be doing this to me!

It’s a shame it didn’t work out for you, I’d expect something with such a strong title to at least live up to its name and not need you to buy another product to make it work properly!

I have seen a lot of good reviews of this, but whenever I see the brush all I see are clumps! I have their Lashgasm one and it’s much better x

This is a shame! There’s sooo many mascaras better than this though for much cheaper!

All i can is “if this is better than sex then you’re having it with the WRONG person” 😉

I was looking at this when I was in Sephora the other day, and looking at the way it had clumped to the brush even was enough to scare me out of buying it. I totally agree with not liking to comb your lashes after an already lengthy process.. This product appears to be way to clumpy for my liking! Love the review!

I did a review on this too. I have to completely wipe the brush in the tube to make sure it’s not too thick.

I’m the same, I like a thin brush too.
