What’s In Your Fridge?

The first challenge that Weight Watcher’s set their ‘ambassadors’ was to clear out there fridge. After all if you switch out everything ‘bad’ for something ‘good’ there’s no temptation, right? That’s actually not generally an issue for me, I’m not a compulsive snacker and can leave sweets and crisps in the cupboard for months, my problem is laziness. I reach for the convenience food over the healthier options that take time to prepare and that’s going to be the toughest thing for me during this WW period. I don’t have an incredible amount of weight to lose but I do want to follow the program in order to really be able to give you my honest opinion at the end as to whether it’s effective/easy to stick to. I wont be switching out all of my high-cal foods but I will be looking for low pro point (this is how WW measure your daily intake) alternatives for the meals I love and hopefully sharing those with you along the way. I also plan to find as many quick recipes as possible for those of you like me that aren’t failing because you’re hungry but because you can’t be bothered to cook. I have a great one already which will go up this week and is just so delicious and involves zero prep time so look out for that!

If you have any great tips or recipes you’d like to share please leave me a comment and if you’re looking to join Weight Watchers to start the New Year you can find out more here

I love tray bakes ! Cheap and Healthy !

    Potato’s ( diced and part boiled )
Peppers ( at least two colours )
Courgettes ( sliced quite thick and halved )
    Red onion
    Chicken ( breast )
Fresh chillies ( I use bird eye )
Slice it all up into a dish add salt and pepper and chilli powder mix it up put it the oven on about gas mark 5
Take it out and stir after about 10 minutes that will get the chorizo oil mixed up.
Then stir about every 10 minutes after that should take about 35 to 40 minutes in the oven in total

Obviously the spice is optional but it’s a great way of bringing out the natural flavours of vegetables !

    Hope this helps 🙂

I lost almost 4st using WW online a few years ago. I found the online forums a great source of support, inspiration and tips. A staple food of mine during that time was Spicy butternut squash soup! It’s really easy to make, I’d make a batch at the weekend and take a portion to work each day with a couple of ryvita to dunk. Another quick, easy meal I discovered was diet coke chicken (I know you’re giving up diet coke but you could get away with this occasionally!) it makes a kind of barbecue sauce, lovely with rice, pasta or anything else you fancy. Good luck with it!

Hope WW is going well so far! 🙂 How are you finding it?
Your hair looks lovely here! I know you’re lighter now (which I think looks beautiful too!) but I think this colour really suits you! 🙂 x
