Winter Wonderland

So it’s pretty cold over In New York right now and while I was wondering what to wear on my nails for our trip I decided to take inspiration from the weather. I’ve actually been wearing this combination for a week now and with no top coat it has held up so well that I can’t not wear it on holiday, right? The white base is a new one to me from the Seche Vite colour polish line (Porcelain II – link) , I’m a HUGE fan of the Seche Vite top coat and this is has the same glossy, hard wearing finish.. it’s just a happy bonus that it’s in white. I love white polish (I’m even wearing it on my toes right now) but it’s usually a labour of love with several coats before you can achieve an opaque finish but this was two coats, no waiting, perfect! Can’t recommend this enough, especially if you’re looking for a base for brighter colours, less layers = a longer lasting manicure. The top coat was also a no brainer, I love me some rose gold and this new Essie A Cut Above glitterย  – link – that I bought last month hasn’t been back in the drawer since I got it. I’m planning on buying a few rosey toned jewellery items while we’re away too so I think it all ties in nicely ๐Ÿ™‚

On the less positive side I’m seriously starting to worry we might freeze to death over there haha.

This is a good combo. I think white is definitely becoming my favourite nail colour now as it can look so sophisticated and look good in all seasons. I’m one of the palest people I know and currently this nail colour is making me look tanned ๐Ÿ™‚

Never tried the Seche polishes, but I do love the top coat, so I have no clue why I never thought to get the polish… will do so soon though ๐Ÿ˜€

I looooove Essie A Cut Above… over black polish it looks like the evil fairy puked on your nails, but in such a good way!

    Love your blog x
