So it’s pretty cold over In New York right now and while I was wondering what to wear on my nails for our trip I decided to take inspiration from the weather. I’ve actually been wearing this combination for a week now and with no top coat it has held up so well that I can’t not wear it on holiday, right? The white base is a new one to me from the Seche Vite colour polish line (Porcelain II – link) , I’m a HUGE fan of the Seche Vite top coat and this is has the same glossy, hard wearing finish.. it’s just a happy bonus that it’s in white. I love white polish (I’m even wearing it on my toes right now) but it’s usually a labour of love with several coats before you can achieve an opaque finish but this was two coats, no waiting, perfect! Can’t recommend this enough, especially if you’re looking for a base for brighter colours, less layers = a longer lasting manicure. The top coat was also a no brainer, I love me some rose gold and this new Essie A Cut Above glitter – link – that I bought last month hasn’t been back in the drawer since I got it. I’m planning on buying a few rosey toned jewellery items while we’re away too so I think it all ties in nicely 🙂
On the less positive side I’m seriously starting to worry we might freeze to death over there haha.
