Yes, It’s THAT Good!

IMG_0477

I’ve had this candle since January and I’ve been rationing it. It’s not super easy to get in the UK and in hindsight I wish I’d stocked up on more while we were in New York but alas.. 7 candles just wasn’t enough for me. When I first smelled it I wasn’t totally sold, I bought it because people raved about it last summer but had they not I probably wouldn’t have. I didn’t think it was all that but it’s grown on me (pardon the fruit pun) and I am now totally obsessed, just in time for it to run out. It’s just as good as they say, that real. fresh peach scent that makes you feel like you’re sitting in the middle of an orchard. It’s sweet and fruity but natural and just incredible that the fragrance is coming from a candle. Totally bizarre but totally addictive and I may just have to but another on eBay.

Buying them on eBay is expensive, I found a stockist here but then again if you REALLY want it it’s one of the only options until Bath & Bodyworks finally buck their ideas up and put a store here in the UK.. I’m kind of losing hope at this point but fingers crossed.

In the meantime I have this Yankee Candle on order in the hope it will be something similar, you have to assume that Juicy Peach will smell something like peaches, right?

I LOVE these candles. My favourite one is Island Margarita. I order them all in Ebay too £11 and free p&p and it’s SO worth it.

I now have my eyes on a Watermelon Lemonade one…

Oh my gosh, I ration my candles too. When something smells so good, I don’t want it to ever burn out 🙁
I’ve never tried a peach scented candle before, hmmm, might give it a whirl, might try the Yankee one though.

I have been stocking up on the Market Peach foaming hand soap too and LOVE it. it’s so fragrant and all our guests keep their hands to their noses, gushing about the scent! 🙂

I swear Bath and Body Works used to be in the UK – I remember visiting their store in Milton Keynes when I was a teenager but it must have closed down years ago. Have you tried anything by Busy Bee Candles? They have a really big range and I love their scents – currently I’m burning their apple strudel and it smells amazing! I reviewed 4 of my favourite scents from them on my blog if you’re interested but their website is amazing too.

I have never really been into candles until I started reading your blog/watching your YouTube vids…now I feel like I want to go out and buy a whole load!!! Any recommendations on 3 or 4 that are good to get started with?

ugh!! so many!! lol.. my favourites right now are Fireside Treats and Waikiki Melon from Yankee.. although Kringle (same company) do some gret ones too but a little less. they do a Log Cabin scent that’s a slightly less smoky version of Dyptique Feu De Bois (that I’ve wanted forever) and I’ll be repurchasing that soon.. a lovely Autumn scent

Im finding burning tarts more effective on scent throw.
Also using left over wax from large candles no longer burning (welled),using the wax in a tart burner throws the scent so much more.
    Midnight jasmine rocks.
