#30in30 MAC All Fired Up

This was a total impulse purchase at the end of last month when I'd decided to do this series and didn't quite have 30 new lip products to put together for it. I already had my eye on a couple of other but I needed one more to round it off and this was that one more. I'm a big fan of the retro matte formula's from MAC but I don't wear a lot of red.. mainly because it's messy and can wear badly but this is SO nice. It DOES need touching up or it can wear away in a not so pretty fashion as you eat and drink but it lasts 10x longer than the average on me. I wore it to Sunday lunch and my parents and it barely budged through my roast dinner and the copious cups of tea that followed.

When I pulled it out yesterday I was very aware I'd only just shown you a matte red but- see here - (and here's where I might lose some of you) it's a totally different colour! That was very orange by comparison, this much more on the pink side and definitely the one I'd pick if I had to choose. As formula goes that one was VERY good for the money and if you're pinching pennies it's a great matte red but if you're looking to treat yourself and like a very matte texture I don't think All Fired Up will disappoint!
