All That Glitters - Collection Primed & Ready Setting Powder

Just a quick one today with a PSA of sorts. I picked this up recently, thinking it was the answer to my budget  bluring prayers. It was inexpensive, super fine and gave me a pretty, 'soft focus' finish that I'd previously only found in higher end setting powders. In the mirror at home, it was fine. On camera, it was fine. In the ghastly overhead lighting of the bathroom at work, I was a DISCO BALL!Of course, I'm aware that mica is present in many setting powders and a little sparkle has light reflecting (bluring) properties but WOWSER! Under a flashlight (my phone) it was INSANE. When I got home I inspected again and really couldn't tell unless it was in direct light but much as I enjoyed it I just can't be walking around in the shadows all day, hoping not to step in to a ray that betrays my glowy secret.I compared it to some others I have and it's by far the worst (though impossible to photograph) so although it's cheap.. it will be relegated to emergency use/dimly lit events where flash photography is strictly forbidden. In the meantime, if you're looking for a good soft-focus blur, might I suggest Vichy Dermablend? A spendier choice but it's a big tub and entirely glitter free!
