Bobbie Brown Extra Lip Tint

I haven't felt the draw to write about a beauty launch in so long. I burned out on newness early last year and not only did I lose interest in the 'exciting' new releases I was being offered.. I wasn't even interested in shopping!..but when these babies arrived, I knew things were turning around.Something about a sheer, balmy lip colour brings the promise of warm weather and sunshine, don't you think? I'm going to go and turn up my hot tub as soon as I'm finished so I can relax in the garden and pretend it's already summer.

BARE RASPBERRY / BARE MELON / BARE BLACKBERRY 

The tint is enough to give some colour without having to worry about unsightly wear or constant top ups. They've become my go-to work lip for just that reason. I usually stick to balms when I'm in the office but the raspberry shade has upped my game a little while still keeping my lips hydrated.. perfection!Apparently the Extra Lip tint has been around for a while - you can find the originals online here - but the release of these brighter colours makes the whole idea all the more interesting and makes them a serious contender for you gloss lovers. I'm not sure I'd be so quick to recommend the very pale 'bare pink' etc - because you are then effectively just splurging on a high end balm - but I am definitely offering my endorsement to these berry shades to add a little colour during this cold snap.I've only found the new shades from Bobbi Brown direct but I'm certain they'll be at a counter near you!
