Candy Striping
I am completely obsessed with the new pastels Barry M recently released in their Gelly line. I know not ALL of these are new and I didn't pick every one up (there's a pink for example I was fairly certain I had a dupe for already) but I thought I'd share the ones I'm really enjoying and striping them seemed a bit more interesting than alternate nails.

I know people will ask how I did it but it's simple, it's not particularly neat (anyone can see that) but I pain a little of each nail at a time, waiting for it to dry the same as I would a full nail and then the next section and so on.. not rocket science but a pretty effective 'nail art' that anyone could give a go. When I'm not sure what colour to wear I usually do this or half and half nails and I ALWAYS get comments on them.. funny for so little effort!
The new shades are super creamy, 1 or two coats to opaque (including the white) and as chip resistant as any thicker, gel-like formula.. not as long wearing as thinner ones but much quicker to apply and a nicer finish so if you don't mind frequent manicures then these are for you! I've developed quite a collection of the Gelly range now (want to see a full swatched collection?) and am yet to find one I really don't like so if you haven't tried them yet I'd highly recommend them - also if any of you have tried the new Plumpy top coat I'd love to hear your opinions.. on the fence about it but think I will have to give it a go and compare to my regular Seche Vite!
