Elf On The Shelf ®
This little fellow might be familiar, his name is Christopher and he joined the family 2 years ago around this time. He's an elf, he flies in on the first of December to check on the kids. Every night he flies back to the north pole to report on their behaviour and every morning he's back in a new place, waiting to be found. It's a fun activity for the whole family and a tradition I've come to love and hope to always keep. This year we have a new addition, she's yet to be named but judging by the first, original name I'm going to guess Christine will be the front runner. Christine will be flying in with Christopher this December and you can keep up with their antics via instagram. You can't BUY an elf, you understand but parents reading this can find information online here about where you can adopt one. Your elf will come with his/her own book explaining The Elf On The Shelf ® story and a presentation box which I can neither confirm nor deny is a great resting place January-November.
There's one main rule, nobody can touch the elf or he/she will lose their magic.. if little hands can't resist however I hear a sprinkle of cinnamon does the trick in place of pixie dust.. if you don't happen to have any of that on hand.
