Face Mask Friday - 7th Heaven Banana & Honey
Montagne Jeunesse have a new range of masks that just launched called '7th heaven' - I kind of assumed they'd already thought of every possible combination then could but, no.. there are more and over the next few weeks I'll be showing you them and telling you whether I think they do what they claim to. As always MJ masks are super convenient as they're one time (or two if you share the sachet with a friend) use products you can pick up with your food shopping when you feel like your skin needs a bit of a boost. There's something for everyone and they're fairly self explanatory - 'Cleans Up & Soothes Skin - For Combination/Dry skin' - now I don't usually describe my skin as dry but lately it's been really playing up and I've been reaching for richer moisturisers so this appealed.
This is one of the more unusual textures I've tried from MJ, they're usually thick but this is more like a lotion. It doesn't drip but it doesn't harden either, in fact within about 15 minutes by skin started to absorb it.. so it was obviously drier than I thought. Everything felt softer and smoother after use and it didn't take much removal so I feel like I can actually attribute that to the mask rather than vigorous scrubbing with a flannel this time. I'm really not keen on either banana or honey.. pretty much the worst scent combination for me but I got over that and would use it again. A handy packet of hydration to have on hand.. one I might have to slip in my luggage for the flight tomorrow..
You can find this mask online here for £1.00
