Face Mask Friday - Boots Cucumber
Hands up who remembers this?? I can't tell you how nostalgic this scent is to me, I think I used to buy the face wipes but whatever, I opened the cap and was like 'whoa! It's 1998'. It's a blast from the past but a goodie as well as an oldie, a basic clay mask that actually feels like it makes a difference to my skin. I can't tell you that it gets rid of any major breakouts or leaves everything feeling super smooth but I'm sure it did something in the way of deep cleansing because a few days after using it a couple of pimples appeared which I'd like to believe this drew out. My skin felt really fresh too.
As always with any skincare it's tough to say what works for me will work for you but for £1.50 - YES, you heard me! - I think it's a safe bet even if you don't love it. I don't have sensitive skin so if you've had an adverse reaction to this in the past be sure to let us know/leave a comment to warn others with sensitivity. I usually like to leave a mask on for longer than a few minutes to get my moneys worth but since this one is so affordable I don't mind using it for it's recommended 3 minutes for a quick pick me up while I'm in the tub. The perfect pampering skin treat to keep me occupied while my deep conditioner is working it's magic ;)
