Freedom Pro 12 Palettes
These 8 palettes have been sitting on my desk staring at me for weeks, I thought it was about time I got to swatching but you know.. procrastinator by nature! So when I did sit down to the task this afternoon I enlisted some help, my daughters arm is standing in for me in the interest of neater swatches for you. So, here goes..
Part of the reason I put this off was because of how beautifully embossed the shadows are, I hate to mess up pretty patterns! As far as formula goes I was hard pressed to find a dud in this selection which almost NEVER happens let alone in a £4 palette. There are obviously some that are more impressive than others, I'd say Chasing Rainbows and Stunning Smokes are the best for bold pigmentation but the matte textures are exceptional for the money. I've said it a million times before, I know but matte is tough no matter the cost so a good matte shadow from a budget range really gives you an idea of what they can do if they want to. There are several neutral variations which seem to be much of a muchness, you definitely don't need all of them but it's nice to have options of tones and textures. I haven't played with these properly yet so this is purely a swatch post, I can't tell you how well they wear or how they apply but you can expect follow ups posts on that! I'm thinking of doing a couple of looks per palette so if there's one you'd like me to focus on let me know and I'll put it to the top of the queue!
