Knock Out
I am completely in love with this sweatshirt. It's entirely the fault of Lindsey Kelk (who I recently saw wearing this) as to why I decided I needed it but I have barely taken it off since I found it on the sales rack at Banana Republic. It's so comfortable, not too thick or fleecy on the inside so great for all seasons but thick enough to keep me warm in this awful cold snap we're having (that I suspect is now just the weather til March) but most importantly it washes VERY well. I hate to fall in love with something only for it to fall apart or bobble up after a wash or two so that was a big plus.. that and EVERYTHING. ELSE. ABOUT. IT.

The other standout has to be these sparkly shoes which will forever be known as my Christmas shoes. I love a slip on sneaker style shoe and am steadily growing my collection of out-there patterns and colours so these had to be mine. The glitter is chunky and it's not coated so you CAN feel the rough texture but it's pretty well stuck on there so I'm not concerned about leaving a trail behind me (think, sparkly snail) or getting it everywhere. I have a feeling this will be the first of many sparkly trainers for me. These pictures were taken by Emma (thanks, Emma) last weekend when we were killing time in a bar in London waiting to see Dawn French.. who was awesome. You can watch Emma's review of the show here, it's the second time I've seen it and I'd go again! I'm hoping she will release her 30 million minutes tour on DVD but having watched for a second time I have a feeling it will be a stage only show as there are so many elements that may not lend themselves to the small screen. If you get the opportunity and are a Dawn fan I'd highly recommend you see it!
