MAC Lipstick Swatches - The Nudes
I’ve been feeling overwhelmed in all areas of life recently. As a compulsive shopper (somewhat recovering) that often means bringing MORE things in to the house which does nothing for the physical overwhelm at compulsions don’t tend to make a lot of sense, do they? To combat this I’ve been trying to go through what I have in small doses (one day one cupboard, that kind of thing) and today I had planned to give myself a full day off .. but that led to browsing the Boots website before I stopped short and thought.. why don’t you go and LOOK AT WHAT YOU HAVE. In spite of the many declutters and the boxes of things I’ve passed on to friends and family, a decade of beauty blogging brings a lot of STUFF in to the house. It’s funny really because the more I have the more inclined I am to buy something I want because looking through everything to find something that ticks the box feels like a lot of work. If I could really downsize the collection, maybe I’d use more of it and BUY LESS. That’s the idea.
So this week I’m focusing on lipsticks and we’re starting with MAC because it’s what I havce most of in terms of brand. I’ll kick off with nudes.. I’m slightly apalled at myself for this collection (and this is a drop in the bucket of the overall number of nudes alone) when I spend my life searching for the perfect nude online. SURELY I have it in my possession already?! Time will tell. I will steadily swatch my way through everything I own and by the end I hope to have a curated draw of things that I LOVE. I already can’t wait to share that with you but this is day one so.. here are all the nudes from MAC that I could laey my hands on for now.

Some of these shades were limited/have been discontinued so apologies for that but really, this is an exercise for myself.. you receiving any value from it at all is a happy accident.
