Short Hairspiration

So I cut off a chunk of hair and it's all Julianne Hough's fault! I like it but it's an adjustment so obviously I immediately started googling for styling ideas and it would appear that the 'bob' is the cut of the season. Whaddayaknow? I'm accidentally on trend for once! I took the picture of Julianne (above) but got more like the Sienna which was a little scary but it's so quick to dry and style and almost looks better messy than 'done' which is EXCELLENT as I am so lazy with my hair! I'll spend hours (and have) on my makeup but I just can't be bothered with hair so I'm hoping this might just be perfect! I'm going to share some pictures once I've had my colour redone this weekend (I'm going for a solid blonde this time rather than highlights) and hopefully will be sharing some of my favourite shorter styles with you very soon.

In the meantime I thought those of you who found this post because of a fresh cut of your own might like this video. I found it the first time I had the chop and found it immensely useful as you'd assume a short cut was really limiting but this girl proves there's lots you can do with not so much effort - win!
