#30in30 Collection Field Day Fuchsia
Collections products don't often jump out at me when I'm browsing Boots for new stuff I 'need' but the new Field Day collection was so pretty I had to have something. I mentioned this lipstick in my recent haul video and a couple of people commented saying they didn't like the texture but I thought it was really nice. Although I prefer a more satin/matte finish I can appreciate a balmier texture for what it is and this was really comfortable and opaque for that.
The colour isn't necessarily what I'd associate with fuchsia.. I usually think of a more blue/purple toned pink but I much prefer this. I love a good warm pink! Given the creamy texture you'd expect the wear time to be pretty poor but again I was really impressed. It needed topping up after lunch but I wore this to work.. all day, that never happens. I usually put something on in the morning and wipe it off by 10am after my paranoia that it's all over my face kicks in but this was comfortable and stayed put relatively well.. at very least it wore evenly when it did start to wear. For £2.99 it's a nice product and the packaging is a little funkier than your average low cost lippie.
