#30in30 Freedom Adorn
As suggested in THIS post I have taken the first step to toning down my uber blonde hair and painted in a longer, darker root. I actually did a slightly darker blonde all over but it was a little cool so I thought I'd keep some fun and warmth and tint it pink. I like it but will probably tinker with it tomorrow so expect something different in my next #30in30 post. Todays lipstick is one I was considering holding back for another series next season but it's so lovely and would be suitable for an evening look whatever the weather so I thought it was worth mentioning now.
In the bullet it seems a little daunting but much like MACs Plumful it's actually pretty wearable on the lips. It's not too bold and the golden shimmer softens the finish without it looking too frosty. It's one of the Freedom colours I didn't expect to love but really do, it's super festive so come Christmas you can expect another feature but for lipstick lovers like me this is an easier day to day 'impact' colour. Formula wise it's nice and creamy in texture but wont last all day.. if you're looking for bolder look/longer wear time I'd suggest layering over a liner. You'll still get that plum/golden pop but it would have some extra oomph behind it. I might do a whole post on lip liners actually.. I've become quite the addict. All in all a great lipstick for an exceptionally great price!
