The Eyes Have It - Primark Beauty

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAI have had these bits and bobs from Primark for a while and used them on and off so I have no idea how it's taken so long to blog them but hey.. better late than never, right? As far as I'm aware everything is still available in stores (no links to buy online I'm afraid) and nothing is more than £3. Off the top of my head I think the palette was £2.50, the mascara was £1.50 and the Eye Brightener was £1.. but don't quote me! Regardless of cost these are all excellent examples of the range!

Primark EyesThe eyeshadow palette is very frosty, you can get a good swatch from each of them and they apply nicely but they are mega shimmery so if that's not your thing you will HATE them! It's not my every day choice but if I'm looking for something a little bolder/borderline metallic this is great.. PS no primer necessary for a decent colour pay off but definitely if you want longevity, there's not a lot behind the shimmer.. they need something to bind them.

The mascara was actually a new find.. I used it for the first time yesterday and was uber impressed, so so good! I'm VERY difficult to please when it comes to mascara so I wasn't expecting to like this but it's great. A rubber brush (my favourite) but it also builds and lengthens, it's not the worlds best but it's considerably better than any other mascara I've tried at this price point and a few much more expensive ones too. No flaking, no crumbling, a generally all round good purchase I'd highly recommend if you can find it!

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERALastly lets talk about the product that's had the most use, The Eye Brightener. So versatile and easy, I've been wearing it with and without eyeshadow on an almost daily basis lately. Unlike the shadows it's not super frosty, more of a sheeny, champagne glow for the inner corners or your eyes or really anywhere you'd like to highlight. I've worn it in my waterline and on my brow bone too and for those of you who feel a little snobbish about makeup brands, this is the one to try! It's almost identical to Benefits High Brow Glow, very soft and subtle but effective.

There are some excellent products to be found for not too much money these days and these are my picks of the PS Love range.. I've found their lipsticks to be pretty good soon so you can expect a post on those soon and if you're wondering the lip product I'm wearing here is also budget friendly and will be up on the blog tomorrow morning - spoiler alert: super predictably Kylie Jenner inspired!
